There are different forms of B12, prescription and non prescription. At Jake Alexander we offer both.
⭐ B12 injections ⭐
There are 3 main forms of B12, which are used in vitamin injections 💉
Methylcobalamin
Hydroxocobalamin
Cyanocobalamin
Methylcobalamin is a natural form of B12, which is non prescription and is used to help enhance and improve an individuals wellness.
Methylcobalamin is not used medicinally to treat any conditions, which have been diagnosed by mainstream medicine.
It is solely used to improve our clients wellbeing ❤️
Methylcobalamin works within 48-72 hours and the effects last longer in the body than other forms of B12.
Hydroxocobalamin is a prescription form of B12 which is used to treat conditions such as pernicious anaemia, B12 deficiency and any conditions relating to low B12 levels. This form of B12 is used within mainstream medicine by medical professionals.
The hydroxocobalamin requires a prescription to obtain for use on a client which is why we need to charge more as there is a prescription fee.
Cyanocobalamin is a man made (synthetic) form of B12 and is used to help improve an individuals wellness. This is also a non prescription B12.
Cyanocobalamin is the cheapest form of B12 and contains small traces of cyanide.
All forms of B12 are water soluble which means the body will use what it requires and will excrete the rest through urine or sweat 👍
